1/2 c sugar
4 T grated yellow onion
1/2 t caraway seeds
1 t sea salt
1 head red cabbage, thinly sliced
1/3 c apple cider vinegar
1/3 c olive oil
t t black pepper
1 c crumbled blue cheese
1 c sliced almonds
- Combine sugar, onion, caraway seeds, and sea salt in a large bowl and let sit for one hour.
- Add cabbage to marinade and stir to combine.
- Add vinegar, oil, and black pepper and mix well.
- Top with blue cheese and almonds.
